ALLEN V. SVITAK
DIRECTOR OF INVESTIGATIONS
Allen Svitak serves as the Director of Investigations. Allen served in the United States Air Force Active Duty for four years and was honorably discharged with a rank of E-5 Staff Sergeant. Allen then went on to a distinguished career with the New York State Police for over 25 years. He was a road Trooper for ten years and then appointed to Investigator with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. During his career, Allen has investigated countless crimes from petit larceny to homicide. He received numerous certifications to include Crime Scene/Evidence Specialist, Fire Investigator II, and attended the prestigious Col. Henry F. Williams Homicide Seminar. Allen was a member of the NYSP Special Investigations Unit which involved undercover surveillance, wiretaps, and investigating organized crime. Allen was deployed to many major events as a Trooper to include the Ice Storm of ’98 and World Trade Center after September 11, 2001. He has always been commended for his strong work ethic and attention to detail which enabled him to bring many investigations to a successful closure.
In his spare time, Allen enjoys family time, baseball, golf, and hiking.
